Study shows most Americans who are diagnosed with insomnia or complain of sleepless nights, use devices emitting blue light (in other words smartphones, tablets, laptops) an hour before their sleep. Researchers found that using amber-tinted glasses helps to block the blue light better compared to plain glasses. Participants in the research could sleep 30 minutes more on average !
But if you don’t want to look ridiculous getting caught sleeping in amber-tinted glasses or are too stingy – keep that smartphone off you an hour before you plan to sleep. May be read a story to your child ! or listen to an audio book ! or earn some brownie points by listening to your wife.
