Nature is well equipped to solve a lot of new age technological problems (and others) we face now.  We are at time competing with nature to come up with a solution which is as efficient as nature, but many a time we fail.  Solar energy, which we have tried to tap in various ways, is still an enigma to us when we see how efficiently plants produce energy using the same solar (light) energy.  Now a team of University of Illinois mechanical engineers and entomologists are looking to click beetles, who can correct themselves without the use of their legs, and flip themselves to a standing position to solve a robotics challenge.
